Extreme Makeover: Cheap Edition

Here's a still frozen, not opened pizza from Digiornos (R). I'm generally quite happy with their products, but it's almost like something was missing...or drastically lacking on this Hawaiian Pizza.
I know I take a lot of pictures of Charlie. Let's just say I love him to pieces, he's one of the few subjects I can easily catch and not get attacked for doing so, and I want as much of him in picture-form before it's too late. 'Cause, sadly, that's all that'll be left...well, maybe a petrified present or two in the backyard.
Anywho, on a lighter note, here's a picture I had to capture of Joel and Charlie nestled up together. Very cute.

Thanks to Mackenzie, I found/purchased this fairly worn, still pretty nice computer desk for...wait for it...are you ready--10 bucks. Not bad. I think even Lisa'd be pretty proud of my penny-pinching find.

Here's several pictures to give you an idea of its condition.

Not way horrible, but definitely on it's way out.

Here's more.

Hm, I think I took too many.

We'll get back to that in a bit. For now, let me introduce you to my awesome new room.
For starters, I got a king-size bed that's so unbelieveably soft. It's a blessing and a curse, in that I love it to death, but never won't to leave it's glorious surface once I've made contact.

This isn't a great shot, but it gives you an idea. I've got my own computer, courtesy of my super-deluxely-awesome parents. THANKS, GUYS! And no, I'm not crazy and keep my Christmas decorations all year. These are old pics that I've meant to post for quite some time. I've got my own phone and a nice lamp. The lady I'm staying with, Marjean, is so sweet and generous. She lets me use whatever I want--which is both nice and disconcerting. =]

There's my ever-growing movie collection. I must say, I didn't realize it had manifested into this much.

I even can use my Gamecube--whenever I want. YES. Not to mention, I get my own nifty TV and DVD player. The TV may look small, but the picture is very crisp which means more to me, personally.

Whew, okay now here's some snapshots of the New Year's Eve party I orchestrated with Mackenzie. Mom, being awesome as always, picked up a box that had everything one needed to throw a neat little shindig. Oh, and that's Ashlee's arm.

Who's this? Why who else but Mackenzie, and half of Ashlee.

Mack and me.

Don't ask. I look...special. Mackenzie looks normal.

Nathan's really getting into game-mode or something.

Heather wants to start a life-long career as a paper cup model. Good luck there, Tiger.

This is such a weird expression from yours truly. That's what I get for getting caught eating a chip.
Wow.

Nathan obediently smiles big for the camera.

Man, Heather really likes posing with products. She just really, really likes that game Hilarium. A lot.

Drum roll if you please.
After Mackenzie enthusiastically bleach-washed the crap out of the whole desk, Dad spray painted the desk black, and I clear coated it to death.
Here are our efforts:

Yeah, I know I took tons of pictures. Granted, this was much fun to fix up a cheap desk and make it look close to new. And for 10 BUCKS.
Thanks for all the help, guys!
Well, I'll attempt to update more often. That's always the wish...
As always, thanks for all ya'll who check and comment!!
